Winter Activities

Ski liftThe ski facilities at Bansko are operational from mid December to mid May. The resort caters for all levels of skiers and snow boarders

Snow board lovers can enjoy the fun park where they can build jumps suiting their taste and abilities.

Also, the half -pipe located by the place where Bansko's famous snow towers are usually built, offers both skiers and snow boarders an arena to boast their latest tricks.

For the kids, the resorts kindergarten provides an excellent introduction to skiing with the 'Wonder carpet', a slow moving travelator replacing the normal drag lifts up the gentle training slopes. There's also a ski carousel and plenty of other entertainment to keep all ages entertained while the grown-ups head off to enjoy what rest the resort has to offer.

Slalom and Giant slalom runs are available. Bansko offers a cross-country track with a total length of 5 km.

And just when you think the fun is over, they turn on the lights and let you ski the last 7km from Banderishka down into the town by moonlight. The slopes are available to everyone and open from 18:30 right up to 21:30

The new black run will take you down the east side of Todorka and once finished, will be among the top ten most extreme black runs in Europe.

Snow conditions

The resort benefits from 55 snow cannons which cover 80% of the slopes, guaranteeing excellent snow conditions whatever the weather and extending the ski season.
